I joined the North America sales team at Adam Matthew Digital in September 2021, at a time when Higher Education institutions had been forced to understand the value of electronic resources, as the world ‘sheltered in place.’
Having lived and worked in four countries over the last 25 years, 11 of which were in academic publishing, I know first-hand how challenging it can be for scholars and students to access the resources they need. Consequently, I deeply value the work that is involved in bringing together primary source materials from archives all over the planet into a single resource that can be accessed from a single laptop wherever the reader might be. Adam Matthew Digital not only curates these sophisticated, multidisciplinary resources, but also provides continued, dedicated support to libraries, researchers and students. As a champion of digital scholarship, I am eager to provide institutions and individuals with the opportunity to access Adam Matthew’s growing portfolio of specialized content.
It is such a privilege to be part of this award-winning company, which I believe is at the forefront of Digital Humanities publishing.
When unplugged, I am grateful to be able to spend my time exploring every type of terrain that can be found in the Pacific Northwest, from a base on the unceded traditional lands of the Lekwungen people. I also love cooking, wild swimming, and whistling, but not all at the same time.
