I was delighted to join the Outreach team at Adam Matthew in 2021. I have a PhD in eighteenth-century literature and have spent the last four years teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students. My research focused on female authors of the early eighteenth century, which was significantly aided by digitised primary sources. It is a privilege to work for a company which is pioneering within the sector through innovative technologies and high-quality resources.
As Faculty Engagement Manager, I build and maintain relationships with scholars and librarians across North America and Canada. My primary focus is identifying complementary collections to support faculty members’ research and teaching. I conduct product demonstrations and consultative meetings to facilitate discovery within our collections. Providing students and researchers with an ‘archival experience’ remotely is an incredibly rewarding part of what we do, which ultimately raises the quality of teaching and scholarship within the humanities.
